Q: What's the difference between Pro Broadcasting, Premium Membership and Producer Pro?

A: This article explains this in detail.

Q: Does Ad-Free turn off ads for a certain channel, or all channels?

A: Ad-Free is for an entire account, it is not selectable on a per-channel (or per-Show) basis.

Q: What if I want some channels to be ad-free and others not?

A: You will need to create two different Ustream accounts.

Q: If I sign up for a Pro Broadcasting account, will this remove ads for all shows that I view?

A: Yes, all Pro Broadcasting packages also give you a Premium Membership included, which means you can watch other Ustream shows ad-free.

Q: Do Pro Broadcasting Packages remove the Ustream watermark?

A: With the Enterprise level package, you can remove the Ustream watermark for a fully white-labeled player.

Q: Do you have special pricing for non-profits or educational institutions?

A: Currently, we do not offer special pricing plans for non-profits or educational institutions.

Q: How am I billed?

A: Monthly from your sign-up date, this is your Start Day.

Q: What if I want to upgrade during my monthly billing cycle?

A: Upgrades are retroactive, you can do so anytime before the end of your billing cycle.

Q: What about overages?

A: Overages are billed on the last day of your billing cycle.

Q: Can I upgrade my account if I am going to have overages?

A: You can upgrade anytime during your billing cycle to cover overages during that billing cycle. You cannot apply upgrades across different billing cycles.

Q: What if I want to downgrade?

A: You can downgrade at any time, but the change will not take effect until your next billing cycle.

Q: What if I want to cancel?

A: You can cancel anytime, but there are no refunds for the pro-rated time. Ads are turned off for the full period of that cycle.

Q: How do I cancel?

A: From your Account > Ad Free Broadcasting > [Cancel Subscription]

  1. Login to your Ustream account
  2. Click on your username in the top right of the screen and choose "Go to Dashboard".
  3. This brings you to your user dashboard. From your user dashboard, click: Pro Broadcasting.
  4. Under your next billing date, click Cancel

Note: Deleting your Ustream account will not cancel your Ad Free Subscription.  Please follow the process above to ensure cancellation.

Q: How do get an invoice?

A: To Download a PDF invoice from your account:

  1. Login to your Ustream account
  2. Click on your username in the top right of the screen and choose "Go to Dashboard".
  3. This brings you to your user dashboard. From your user dashboard, click: Pro Broadcasting.
  4. Click View payment history; download invoices (blue link under your next billing date).
  5. Find the invoice your would like to download and click Download Invoice. View invoice details by clicking the + sign (left side) to expand each item. 

Q: What if I only want to broadcast a one time event?

A: Sign up for that month, then cancel before the end of the month.

Q: How do I change my billing information?

A: Please follow the process below to change your billing information:

  1. Login to your Ustream account
  2. Click on your username in the top right of the screen and choose "Go to Dashboard".
  3. This brings you to your user dashboard. From your user dashboard, click: Pro Broadcasting.
  4. Scroll down and modify your Payment Information by clicking the appropriate Modify button.
  5. Enter your new credit information.
  6. Click the Save button below to save your changes.
