1. Log in to your Ustream account, click on your username in the upper right hand corner, and choose "Go to Dashboard"

2. On the Dashboard Overview page, click on "Channel" in the left hand navigation menu or locate the channel section in the center of the page. Be sure you have the correct channel selected.

3. Click on "Videos"

4. Under each video there is a button, that says "Edit", click on that:

5. Click on the box next to "Private" and click on "Save"

1. Log in to your Ustream account, click on your username in the upper right hand corner, and choose Go to Dashboard

4. Click on the wrench icon next to the video.
5. Enter the desired title, tags and description
6. Press save to save your changes.

• Please note, filling these fields out completely is important to make sure your content is search engine optimized. Including lots of tags and detailed titles and descriptions makes it easier for your potential audience to find your content through both Ustream search and through search engines like Google.

Viewers can find your recorded videos by going to your user page. This can be found by clicking on your Username.

Once you land on the user's page, you will see the "Channels" box on the right.

Please, click on the channel name you would like to see the archived videos from.

And you will see the archived videos on the right hand side from the player.

     How to check for your most recently recorded video:

1. Log into your account.
2. Click on your name at the top right to go to your dashboard overview.
3. Click an Manage your show, left side of the page.
4. Select the show that your video was saved under.
5. Click Your Videos.

If your video was saved properly, you will see it at the top of the list of videos.

Recently Recorded Videos

How to check for your most recently recorded video:

1. Log into Ustream.
2. Click on your username (top right) to go to your dashboard overview.
3. In the lefthand navigation click "Channel" and select your channel from the drop-down menu, or skip this step if you only have one show.  
4. Click on "Videos".
5. If your video was saved properly, you will see it at the top of the list of videos.

Delete Your Videos

Note:

• Deleting your account will not delete your videos.
• Please delete your videos before deleting your account.
• Once your video has been deleted it cannot be retrieved.
• Make sure that you have selected the correct video before deleting.

1. Log in to your Ustream account.
2. Click on your username (top right) to go to your dashboard overview.
3. In the lefthand navigation click "Channel".  
4. Under the correct channel name, click on "Videos".
5. Select the video you would like to delete by checking the box beside the video (left of the video).
6. If you would like to delete multiple videos at a time, click the box at the top (left of the Make Private button) to select all of your videos for that page.
7. Then, click Delete to delete your videos.

How to Download Your Videos

1. Log in to your Ustream account.
2. Click on your username (top right) to go to your dashboard overview, or point your browser to Ustream.tv/dashboard
3. In the lefthand navigation, click "Channel" and select your channel from the drop-down menu, or skip this step if you only have one channel.
4. Click on "Videos".
5. Click on the Wrench icon next to the video, and click "download.flv"

* You can navigate away from the page, but you'll need to keep your browser open until the file has finished downloading. 

Cutting Down Recorded Videos

1. Log in to your Ustream account.
2. Click on your username (top right) to go to your dashboard overview, or point your browser to Ustream.tv/dashboard
3. In the lefthand navigation click "Channel" and select your channel from the drop-down menu, or skip this step if you only have one show.
4. Click, My Recorded Videos.
5. Click on the button with the wrench above, and to the right of the video you would like to edit.
6. Move the markers to where you would like the video to start and end.
7. Click Save to complete your changes.

Note:  Deleting your account will not delete your videos.  Please delete your videos before deleting your account.

2. Click your username in the top right and choose Go to Dashboard from the drop down



3. Click on videos under the channel section. If you have more than one channel, ensure you have the correct channel selected by using the drop down next to the word channel.



4. To delete an individual video, click on the trash can icon underneath the video.



5. To delete multiple videos check off the ones you want and choose delete from the "Action" dropdown at the top of the list.

Make sure that you save your recording after you have finished your broadcast.  Otherwise, it will not be archived! =(

1. Click Stop Recroding (bottom right, broadcasting interface).
2. Click Save (if you do not see an option to save your video, click the Recording tab, top right).
3. Fill out the Title, Discription, and Tags fields for your video.  Otherwise the option to click save will not be enabled.  Select Private, if you wish to make this video private.
4. Then, click Save.

You can cut a new version of your video by going to “Manage Your Show”, picking a show (that the recorded video is located under), and clicking on “Your Videos.”

Select a recorded video and move the green color bar to cut your video. On your video, you can select where you want it to start and end. Please [Save] when you’re finished.

After you log in, click on Go To Dashboard on the top right.

Under Channel and then click on Videos.

Then pick a recorded video and click on the arrow button located bellow the video.

Under your video, there will be a box where you can enter a title for your highlight. Use the slider bar to choose the start and end points of your highlight.

Use the arrows to the left and right of your start and end points if you’d like to fine tune it second by second. Press save and your highlight will be created! .

After you login in and click your [username] on the top right, click on “Manage Your Show” and pick a show channel (that this recorded video is under) then go to the “Your Videos” section. Here, you can select the recorded video that you want to edit.

Click the wrench icon on the right side to edit the title, tags, privacy settings, and description of your videos. You can also download your videos into .flv format, and upload your videos to YouTube. You can also delete recorded videos in this section.

Click the Trash Can icon next to any video to delete it. 

Currently, we do not have an option to upload a video to Ustream, but you can record your video file with Producer as a work around.  Here is information on how to use Producer to upload a video:  

1. Download Ustream Producer for free at http://www.ustream.tv/producer
2. Choose to download Ustream Prodcuer for either Mac or PC from the right side.
3. Install Ustream Producer, and launch the program.
4. Log into Producer with your Ustream username and password.
5. At the very bottom of Producer, choose the channel you would like to upload your video for.
6. Drag and drop the video file into Producer.  The video will automatically begin playing back in a loop.  Begin your broadcast while the video is playing back.
7. Once the video loops back to the beginning, click Record down in the bottom right hand corner to begin the recording.
8. When you are finished recording the video, click the Record button to stop recording the video.  Make sure that you stop the recording before it loops back to the beginning.
9. Enter a Title, Description, and Tags for the video, then click Save.

To record your broadcast, open the broadcast console,



click ‘start broadcast’,



and then click ‘start record.’
