Ustream makes it easy to express yourself, connect with friends and make new ones, but please remember that what you post publicly could embarrass you or expose you to danger. Here are some common-sense guidelines that you should follow when using Ustream:

Don't forget that your profile and Ustream forums are public spaces. Don't post anything you wouldn't want the world to know (e.g., your phone number, address, IM screens name, or specific whereabouts). Avoid posting anything that would make it easy for a stranger to find you, such as where you hang out every day after school.

Notification of Copyright Infringement
Ustream.tv respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998, the text of which may be found on the U.S. Copyright Office website at http://www.copyright.gov/legislation/dmca.pdf, Ustream.tv will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement committed using the Ustream.tv service that are reported to Ustream.tv's Designated Copyright Agent identified in the sample notice below.

It is the responsibility of the broadcaster to ensure the material you stream is not copyrighted material. Any broadcasts discovered to be copyrighted will be turned off and deleted. Please read the Terms of Service below.
